1. Collection of personal data

1.1 We do everything we can to handle your data as confidentially as possible, to process as little personal data as possible, to store it as short as possible and to limit its use to be able to perform our agreement. We collect data to be able to comply with our legal obligation, possibly be able to offer a guarantee, and we may use it for other purposes for which you have given explicit permission.

1.2 This Privacy Policy describes how your Personal Data is collected, used and when it is disclosed to others when you visit http://www.intermsolve.com/ (the “Site”), submit a contact request here or make a purchase. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

1.3 When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone and certain cookies that are installed on your device. In addition, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that brought you to the Site, and information about your interaction with the Site. We call this automatically collected data “Device Data”.

1.4 We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies: These are data files placed on your device or computer and often contain an anonymous unique identifier. interMsolve uses functional and analytical cookies to optimize the operation and ease of use of the Site. interMsolve also uses tracking cookies.   • Log Files: These track actions on the Site and collect information including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, pages from which the Site sends you, and date and time stamps.

1.5 When you make or attempt to make a purchase by phone, email and/or Site, we collect certain information from you including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers or other types of payment methods we accept), your email address and phone number. We call this data “Order Data”.

2. Use of personal data

2.1 We use the collected Order Information to fulfill orders placed (including processing your payment details, preparing for shipment, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). We also use this Order Information to communicate with you, review orders for potential risks or fraud, and send you information and advertisements about our products or services, according to the preferences you have indicated.

2.2 We use the collected Device Information (particularly your IP address) to monitor for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers navigate the Site and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns).

3. Providing personal data

3.1 Your personal data will be provided to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement. For example, we use WordPress to operate our Site. On the page nl-be.wordpress.org/about/privacy/ you can read how WordPress handles your Personal Data.

3.2 We also use Google Analytics to understand how our customers use the Site. Please keep in mind that this means that your Personal Data will be transferred to countries outside Europe.

3.3 We may also disclose your Personal Data to comply with any applicable laws and regulations, to comply with a lawful information request we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4.1 As described above, we use your Personal Data to send you targeted advertisements or marketing messages that may match your interests. 5. Don’t track

5.1 A “Do Not Track” signal from your browser does not mean that we handle the collection and use of data differently than stated in this document.

6. Right of access

6.1 If you live in Europe, you have the right to access the Personal Data we hold and request that your Personal Data be rectified, updated or deleted. You can submit such a request via info@intermsolve.com.

7. Retention periods

7.1 To enable checks by the tax authorities, we are legally obliged to keep the basic data of our administration for 7 years. This means, for example, that we keep all original invoices – which contain personal data such as your name and address – for at least this period, unless you ask us to delete this data.

8. Policy changes

8.1 This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example because we change the way we work with data, for other operational reasons or because this is required by law or regulation. Please note that these changes may occur without further notice so make sure to review this document on a regular basis.
